Dude, if you have a RHD FB, we need to talk. That is my dream FB to purchase(4 already). Don't chop or convert; sell it and buy a LHD FB. It's worth more as a RHD.

Well, many road courses run clockwise, and it'd be nice to be on the inside half of the car.
Shift with your left hand.
Convenient when parking on the street (flip side: inconvenient when pulling out of on-street parking)
Just to be different?
I've driven RHD cars before (yes in this country ) and it's really no big deal.

Sorry, that was not very clear. By RHD country I meant a country where one drives on the right. But you get the picture: why have your steering wheel on the opposite side from everyone else. For several years I drove and raced both LHD and RHD RX-7's in the UK where one drives on the left. No, it is not a big deal. That said, I definitely found the RHD more convenient when driving there, and LHD more convenient in the US. Being reasonably adept at parallel parking, there did not seem to be any advantage to being "backwards" other than possibly delivering mail. On the other hand, with the steering on the left, there is more room for the intake system. If I had any idea people would be clamouring for RHD cars I would have brought back a few. Hmm, after thinking about all this I hope I figure out what side of the road to drive on...

AM General (*), Saturn (GM division), and Subaru all sell/have sold RHD cars in the US for mail carrier purposes. The USPS drivers are issued the AM General jeeplets, while I think private firms or people who use their own vehicle (really small towns?) use the Saturn or Subaru cars. Anybody could order and purcase a RHD Subaru or Saturn, there are no restrictions on which side the driver sits.
(*) AM General only sells work vehicles. They were created in the 80's when AMC sold Jeep to Renault. See, we couldn't have our military vehicles (Jeeps, and now HMMWVs) produced by a foreign nation... never mind that we do source lots of stuff from other countries (F-16 wings from Japan for example). Anyway AM General makes the postal Jeeps, and I also think the LLV (nerdmobile postal vanlet)

I'd been to their website five or six times over a period of maybe half a year before it dawned on me - they were in a RHD country, but they had a LHD car, because otherwise they couldn't get that much engine setback. I guess I simply never considered it as unusual to see an LHD car

I'm not really sure, other than Peejay's points about racing, why you'd want a RHD car in North America.
You are all aware, aren't you, that RHD "FBs" are all 12a (or 12aT for some JDM) and that there were no GSL-SE spec RHD cars[0]? Not to mention that the GSL-SE dash is unique to North America, and therefore LHD, too.
[0] All RHD FBs got the *other* changes, just not the injected 13b and not the dash.

So you'd need a RHD dash anyway, big whoop. It's not as if you weren't going to be doing a bunch of rewiring and stuff anyway.
Where do RHD cars have the computer module? LHD cars have it in the right side footwell, I can't imagine getting a pedal box in there. The depth of the footwell is notably shorter on the passenger side because of the computer module and the bracket/plate above it that prevents frightened passengers from mashing their feet into the module box and crushing it..
