yes and no. viscous is the cheapest lsd available. it virtually never wears since the metal never touches but its engagement and locking properties are not nearly as good as a torsen or clutch type. roadracers mostly all use torsen if allowed as it is the most linear and fastest acting, allowing the driver to get power down earlier in the corner.

dammit, that sucks. i thought my 91 had a clutch type. dammit.
