just a lil eye candy....

here's a pic of my 81 GSL lookin' sexy... she's currently under the knife reffitting all the fiberglass, shaving the body mouldings, shaving the mirrors,and mounting new f3 style carbon fibre mirors, smoothing the bumpers and blacking out the tails, she'll also be getting custom airbrushed with graphics, airbrushed efiinni badges and ghost graphic rotors, new pics will be coming of new interior and engine swap to 12a 1/2bridge current mods include 1/2 streetport 12a, mikuni phh44, holey red fuel system with return line, Koni Reds at all 4 corners, Hawk pads, 225/50/15 tires on 15x8.5 Prime wheels in 4x110 bp, 8lb aluminum flywheel centerorce stret-strip clutch, and 2.5 inch exhaust with long primary custom fabed header feeding borla xs-1 pre-silence and single maganflow s mufler that loks identical to stock muffler with large polished tips.... best pass of 13.93 @ orlando speed world (sorry forgot trap speed)...keep cecking for pics or progress on the project... also for those that can't tell from the angle the car is currently fitted wit a mariah wide body kit genuine IMSA spolier, molded to body

she's in primer now...like i said i'll post somemore pics of the progress as soon as i can meet up wit my buddy with the digi camera...the front bumper is compleely shaved and smoothed nw it lokks incredible..reall cleans up the lines

Looks good, looks familiar.

To load a large pic, right click on the listed pic>propertys, copy the addy, click on

then inset the addy.


You can pratice in the test section.

Definitely post progress pics, I think those are the most fun ones anyway. Shows the heart that goes into the soul.

First off, nice car. love those wheels especially. super clean.

2nd... you managed an sub-14 run with a half-streetport 12a, a mikuni, and a header? either that is one well-tuned carb, or your not telling the whole story... enlighten me!

Easy. I bet either he's puerto rican, or the guy who tuned and built his motor is.

1/2 bridge 1/2 street is the best of both worlds. I've personally seen one of my uncle's 13b into sr5 swaps run 13.2 fully stripped with M/T street radials (the ones that look like they have little bone designs) and a stock sr5 diff. I **** you not that car flew!


To the original poster: Man ur car is clean, I'm stripping my new project car and I'm debating on weather to go with the stock black it has now (faded) or a different black alltogether. I'm just wondering what black that is?

Nice rims too. They look like bbs's with a bigger center radius. Any other plans?

thanks for the compliment... and here's the whole story... car typically will run deep into the 14's but best pass was 13.93... cut a perfect light and plenty of vht on the tires....also you missed the 8 lb flywheel mod i posted earlier and i forgot to mention the 4.44's in the rear ... and also I'm not puerto rican, in fact I'm probably the only white guy to ever rebuild a 12a in Orlando, FL...lol... if i can find a scanner and dig up my time slips i'll post em in the proper section...or maybe i'll try to go cut another one.....

and the color is PPG Black Mica.... don't know the code...but it's gonna be Honda Blackish Blue with the repaint and custom airbrushing..... for those that don't know the Honda black is a 3 stage with black base, a little blue pear,l and then cleared over. sould look great

thanks, the wheels are actually Primes... believe it or not.. have no idea what style or model, but I know they're no longer available... i'm actually going to paint the centers black as well...aqnd future mods are posted in the original post...keep checking back for progres pics...

If the finish on the wheels is still mnt, don't paint, they look good as they are. And this is coming from a guy who's favorite wheels are mesh with dark centers, lol. The black with blue pearl sounds intersting. Pearls can be fun and a pita at the same time. Wish I did more painting and could afford to play with them more.
