Thanks! No, they are from the RX-8 wheels, just take out that black center piece from your old wheel and snap those in.

I have the Yokohama T4 Avids on the '79 ( rear) now and all around on the '89 vert since 1995.

They are great tires IMHO

What was the payment method? PayPal? If so, dispute that. Like what roudabout said, you shouldn't have to pay for something that was falsely advertised. If you don't want to do anythinga bout it, you can try stretching the wheel wells, it increases steering response, but that's another topic. Not to be a dick or anything, but I hope you learned your lesson on buying tires off a private seller on ebay.

Just had a new neighbor move into the house across the street, turns out he a an 82 gs. Just picked it up apparently, it has 155/70's on the front. It just dosen't look right. i can see the tread surface is not as wide as the rim itself. I think i'll be able to scrape by with the 175's..

Mah, no real lesson here, i'm not overly upset.I don't know if he intentionally tried to snow me, but people, and as much as they can **** you off are human and as such mess **** up on a regular basis. After all they are a good tire that you can't find new anymore. Bridgestone t/a in a 50 series fresh enough to still have the nubs.. I wish they were 185's but for 90 bucks including shipping across canada i'm not gonna cry about it.

what do you think about sumitmoto's? I had never heard of them till yesterday, they seem alright and the price is sure cheap. 53 for a 215/50 is pretty crazy. Maybe i'm just used to getting screwed buying in canada...

I've got Sumitomo HTR 200s in the 205/60/R13 size and I love them. The sidewalls are a little soft but as long as you keep the pressure up (they are rated to 52psi) then you probably won't feel too much roll. Great tires for the price.

Only .4" difference in diameter (overall height), width only 10 mm less. Since these are on the front, they won't affect speedometer error.

Use the hell out of them. You'll never know the difference.

Well i hope i notice a little difference, the whole reason behind the 50 series was to get the nose a little lower and steering a little quicker to respond. I'm looking for a set of front springs to bring the nose down another inch down.

I run the HTR 200 in 215/50/13 . I have been for 4 years no problems no modifacation needed to fit. My car has rb springs and polybushing front and rear. The tires handle great Alingment +4.00deg caster +1.00 deg camber +.10 deg toe. and they look good
