Thanks for the compliements everyone.

For this year atleast its going to stay sliver which matches the wheels as you said. What i thought of doing was photoshopping the spolier body colour to have a better idea of how it would look. My intial idea was to paint my wheels Gold, and have the spolier body colour but with the stands sliver like the GT-C 3rd gen. Now i've changed my mind about that.

I won't be able to have any pictures like the one in my avatar for a while since I need another car to photograph mine, But Next time im up at the shop im going to try to get as many pictures as possible in all the different angles.

This is a Koing V-racing spolier, cost me about $150CAN

Alright i draw the li....

oh wait i forgot, i dont care

go make fun of people if thats what gets you your jollies. We love our cars, i'm sure you can relate to that, and we also value appearance.

Why talk ****, even to a fellow rotorite. I really dont understand you people. Do you want us to make our cars look like ****?

I would much prefer a 10 second car that looks like a 10 second car than a 10 second car that looks like it just rolled off the junk yard.

well i was just joking. personally its called taste. most of the "mad props" **** you'd never see on a big name sports car. sort of like you don't see upper society with mullets. why? its not fashionable. personally, i think the spoiler looks kind of cool and will be somewhat functional wants he windtunnel tests it to find angle of attack vs degrees. also what does not having a wing have to do with a junkyard pos? of which i'll say yes. i would rather roll onto the strip in this 10 min looking car, that people are heehawing over, then bust the **** out of any competition. the best looking cars in my opinion don't have a lot of exterior flashy mods. they are tasteful. beautiful paint jobs, accents, clean, nice tasteful rims, etc. not the bling. altezzas etc. jimmy has done a pretty damn nice job. the only disputable arguement being the wing. and his naws timing. which he's working on. personally, my car is an all stock 91. it looks nice. needless to say i'm a driver. i don't care to spend money on flashy **** that has a negligible or down affect on performance. since it could be making the car faster, or easier to drive fast. you don't have to have an 8' wing to be fashionable. funny thing is the first girls to yell at me was in my worn out red paint, fiberglass oldschool kit 79. not my wrx or my 91. not my camry with a konig on the back of it. but that little red sports car with a kit that really accented the lines. everyone has an opinion. sorrow needed a tranq on his, but thats the way it goes. most people on here aren't into the bling. they prefer speed. these cars are dated and trying to make them look modern is a major feat of creativity and money. anyway, you ask, you get the answer. don't make yourself vulnerable unless you can suck up the jabs. :p

Ok,

Since we're on the topic of what is "ricey" and what isn't...what do you people think of my wing?

Also, does anyone know if this is a specific wing for an RX-7? It seems to fit perfectly all around, not just chopped and glued together like Supra wings on every car but a Supra.

With that tall lip, it does keep the air flowing smoothly and the tail end down a little better (as compared to wingless 7's I've been in).

i think this one would look really good and serve a purpose on a first gen. i saw one on a second gen and it looked bad *** not too big looks like it actually serves a purpose and actually does..

Jeremy, who ever said i can't suck up the jabs?

I could, note: COULD, talk **** to you all night. but thast not my style.

Instead, i will ingore your petty attempt to make me feel bad and return to my life, upgrading my car (which i dont think is rice), and when i have a 450 hp car that wins audio, fashion, drag, and circuit competetions, why dont you come tell me whos car is "better"

Too bad everyone lives so far away from eachother, it'd be cool to have a show that had all the different styles of first gens,

that way everyone would be happy, for me keeping it stock is boring. Not to mean I change everything, but subtle changes here and there to update the car. And add comforts to the driver. For example I have a perfect stock interior, system and some guages but no cutting, or painting random panels or vents. (center plate around radio is painted silver.... EXCEPTION!!) I even still have a stock shift ****.

the spoiler is on the right type of car, a sports car. This rx7 may never run on a track, but I enjoy knowing that it has all the potential to be as close to a race car as possible. Besides I always thought the rear of the first gen was ugly. But now I believe that no matter which was you look at the car it looks good.

Iotus's car is a great example of a car modified very tastefully. and I bet it'd get alot of attention at any RX7 meet, and it is definitely unique. You can't mistake that car with anyone else on this forum.

RX7's are a Hobby for some of us! Have fun with them!

Thats pathetic,

If you know any one in the TampaBay area..ask them about Gandy bridge,Its a spot on the weekend alot of racers and ricers hang out and meet at,I remebered the weekend of Nopi Nationals here last year.it was soo ****** packed it wasnt funny,

Well getting back to my point, when I go out there theres like a group of 5 hatch ack Slivics and Del slows, that have that high ****** shopping cart handle on thier cars,I should post pics one day..

Most of the time when I see a car with a wing like this..I asked them does it really Fly..and I get wierd looks..

Hey Jimmy..does it really Fly?

congrats that you are ignoring that. however, it wasn't an attempt to make you feel bad but an attempt to tell you how i see things and why the reaction has been the way it has. the jabs refers to "one" making him/her vulnerable then complaining. if you took that to mean you then maybe it hit home as jimmy isn't the one whining. i also said its a matter of opinion. and then i gave why i see it my way. i've explained and you keep taking shots. so once and for all, my posts were in humor except for the last and that was to explain myself, especially since you found it necessary to defend against my sarcasm. excuse while i step out of the special olympics...............

hondaguy: i like your wing but would kill those MASSIVE louvers and the wheel arch hoopty strips. those seem to take away from the "sportiness".*

*this is a personal opinion, not to be wadding the panties over

Ok...this is funny..

How can a 3 foot tall wing make someone jealous?

How hard is it to go and buy a wing drill 8 holes and mount it

I need the wing since i do Mostly highway driving, the car loves to let the rear slide on those banked curves along with on/off ramps which isn't exactly very good at 130km/h+
Which is why earlier I made the comment about how that Mustang rear is a large air catcher.. 'dirty' air circulating underneath the rear of the car causing lots of drag and lift. Cut open a couple of 2-3" horizontal slats the highest point before it hits the bumper running the full width as much as you can.. this will relieve top speed/lift problems by allowing the air to flow through. Do it cleanly though if you do..just a suggestion

Too bad everyone lives so far away from each other, it'd be cool to have a show that had all the different styles of first gens,
Thats why EVERYONE here and in the other generations of the forum should make an effort come on out to this years SEVENSTOCK 6!!! Its like the Mecca of Rotary Power --plug

You complain about downforce and dont even run your **** on the track.

Your a highway racer,I bet you dont even go over 90 mph..

Do you see where my tact is set at?

Do you see how close my gas,and brake pedal is?

I got this Hurst shifter free/ my stock one was chewed up.

I payed $175. for my car..I got a total of $900. and something in it and run low 15s,I got the tore down for bridge porting and just ported my intake today.

Like I said the front body peices, and my paint job was free..How better could that have got?

Its a Mercades silver in the front fading to black.

Ok now you want to talk about ricer exhast?

Ok you got a Pacesetter, the worse POS you can buy on the market..

I got RacingBeat road race header.

I got all free flowing exhast, 2.5 in pipes..
No cats

That muffler is a DTM tip Mozart made by Konig hey ..I got it for $50. cant get better than that.

How rusted is your exhast?

As a matter of fact,Today I made up my mind on what color my 7 will be ,95/96 Ford Tangerine (Orange)

Before I drop my engine back in it the bay will be sprayed,

Another free paint job, complete change over color.

Well this car has set for 2-3 months,I took it out last Sunday for the last drive before I started tearing the engine down on the same day..

Heres some updates pics..
