acutually its not that big...In the pictures it looks bigger than it is. Once i get some GOOD quality pictures along with better lighting and all then you can see it better.

What I'm really interested in is that mustang rear bumper. How did you do that?

the mustang gt bumper was easy to do. First cut the bumper lenghtwise just under that trimline that runs all around the car. Do that to the side pieces of the bumper too. (remember the mustang bumper is 3 pieces) Attach the little side pieces on first. See what hight you want the bumper from the ground. I matched it too the side of the car. Anyways after you've cut off the top section of the actual bumber I cut it in half, approximatly 3 inches were removed from the lenght of the bumper. The letters at the bottom read "muang gt". The bumper was mounted, and I put a re-enforement attached on the back. Removed it again and proceeded to fill the lettering and the union of the bumper at the center. Once it all dried I attached it again to the car and marked off were the licence plate sits. removed it and cut the square hole. Cut the hole for the exhaust pipes, and painted the bumper and attached it with sheet metal screws (just like the front skirt is attached). I feel that it brought a unique look to the car. And the car looks more agressive. Ever since I bought the car I always disliked the design of the rear of the car. And to buy the actual skirt, ship it to canada, taxes, exchange rates, delivery from cali, etc. It would be $5-600 dollars. I'd rather spend that on actual performance parts for my car. I'm not a pro body man but with some common tools and fiberglass, anybody can do this. Keep in mind that GT bumpers are actually rare, I paid $200 from a mustang shop nearby cause no scrap yard have 5liter mustangs. Only the 4bangers. all in all it was worth it big time.

The wing actually looks pretty good on there, ala Amemiya..functional too, maybe anodize the side parts black. Although that Mustang rear may look good, its a big air catcher..lotsa drag..needs slats cut into it. Overall clean SE

Thanks, I've thought about painting the wing body colour and leaving the stands sliver. Where would you think slats would need to be cut into it?

dude, that mustang rear skirt is interesting. I think that a saleen/cobra skirt would look 10 times better. I like the wing but it needs to be body color.

i'm not a fan of those wings either. i personally think that they look like park benches. but, if you like it then it doesn't really matter.

I don't really like those wings too much either, but painting it body color and leaving the stands silver would make it look better.

the wing's pretty cool. but i do think you should paint it(including mounts) to match your car. it would look more finished.

I like it... it kinda suits the car actually... I think fitting wings to cars really depends on what else is done to the car... not like some people that have a bone-stock-bodied car, and slap a 36" tall air-plane wing on the back....

Well to go along with this wing is a lightweight flywheel, electric fan, and possibly nitrous.

The question is why is it on?

Performance will be down below about 105.110mph as drag will be less benefical than down thrust to improve traction.

There are two difficulties. First, getting the wing angle right, it normally takes extensive road testing. Second, balancing the front down thrust to balance so steering does not come too light.

Whether it looks the part is a matter of taste. Many people overcook their rice and it becomes gluggy..

Cool!

I've been thinking of one of these wings after seeing the RE Amemiya pics. I'm hanging to see better pics, particularly more from the side and a bit further away. So... Hurry up!
