No ****. could never tell it was dying of cancer. you've got alot of parts to switch over. a small block V8 would be cool. why can't you sub-frame the entire rear-portion
and diff. mounts ?.. box section chrome-alloy and design a 4 link type adjustable rear suspension, didn't you get larger rear rotors and better calipers ? you've got some bucks inversted, weld it up and save the car.

Paul crushed WT in 2002.

Really sucks, 'cos my friend has a sweet '79 and he needs gas tank... and the tank was one of the very few things on that car that wasn't trash. (The steering box was perfect, too, and I *hope* he grabbed it)

damn, i have a tiny (about the size of a dime) rust hole back there, right at the inside passenger corner of that bracket. I'm going to go ape **** on that with my grinder, a dremel, some stainless plating welded in, POR-15, and undercoating to seal it up. Does anyone know of a place for bead blasting in the michigan/ohio/indiana area?

Jim i feel your loss after i got MY 83rx painted Deep metalic Torredor Red & did all the work to make her exactly what i wanted within 3 yrs of my paint after putting in my 13b & delortos i saw a big rot hole . i could touch my rear wheels from, all i had to do is remove my storage bins & i could touch the tires on both sides the hole was the size of a fist and beneath my driver side seat there was more the unibody rail had rust & a split by the steering box.Now i did buy another car last year a Grey 83 GSL but automatic the plus is the holes are in the right spot for the swap from auto to stick but my paint job cant be just swapped over & the guy that painted it for me isnt around the paint outlasted the body well the underbody, and as for finances not as good as when i had my red RX .well im not in such good financial standing but i want to get my motor ported atleast my buddies from PR are gonna do that all i have to supply is the seals & internals.but to get the car painted i have to wait ti i do the motor & now some fool keyed my left fender pretty good so i have to pay for the touch up. Dont know who keyed it cause i dont really hang out where i live & the one night i left it out is when it got keyed, But my Rotary bro i feel your pain. Each time i go to the yard & look at the car i want to cry I really loved that car so much fun and so many heads that turned no spoiler or anything just white rims & sounds & paint turned alot of eyes

You still see your old rx7 at the junk yard, damn thats gotta hurt. Mine is still at the shop with no front suspension, I welded a set of rollers so it is still movable. It does suck cause the paint job is still amazing and it's just sitting there dead.

sorry to hear somebody keyed your car, don't know why but some people are idiots and don't think! Way back someone ran a exacto-knife across my fender aswell but luckily it didn't go to bare metal
