J spec Gear ratios

Ok, so im 1500 Km into a 5000Km road trip, and Bang, good by 5th gear! ok so i order a new gearbox,(try locating a spare in Central Queensland) and get it shipped the 1200 to my car, after a few hours on the tools in a friends garage, i discover the cogbox i have been given is from a Jap Spec 12A Turbo Series 2 RX, the gearbox housings are identical, the only difference is the shifter pattern is smaller and the bellhousing is vented. but the most notciable difference is the RATIOS!!

does anyone have the gear ratios for the Standard Series 2 5 speed gearbox fitted to Australian delivered cars and the ratios for the Japaneses 12Turbo model!!!

any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Put it in gear and spin the input shaft by hand and watch how much the output shaft turns. That'll tell you exactly what the gear ratios are!
