so i have got the old rx7 ready woot woot.... there is a tuner shop in my town (if you want to call them that) that has a 92 hatch gsr swap t3 turbo with nitrous and slicks..we are going to race thrusday at shady side dragway woot there best time with out nitrous is a slow 8.2 (1/8 mile) and they are shooting for mid 7's this thrusday

now my car's best time was a 10.1 with bald tires and stock everything good tires it would have been in the 9's ez...

now the car is far from stock... if i do not post on thrusday its caz i slit my rist to loseing to thos guys.. but with everything done to my car it should kill them i will post the wining video thrusday or friday night woot wish me luck

good luck! let us know how you do. if you car ran anything like zac's my bet is your going to slay him. especially if you can hook up, cause youve got rwd, and he's fwd, so youve got the advantage. he prolly has slightly more hp. especially with the nitrous, but i think it will be a good race.

 

i should be near the HP of zac's car or more ......and im lighter with 10.5 MT ET streets wooot so long as my clutch holds up it should be a sluter wooot

 

how much boost are you running? i know zac was upward of 15, and last i knew you were only running like 7

 

Sorry, but you are going to lose. A stock TII with a ported wastegate, fcd and 3-1/8" single exhaust will run a 9.3 in the 1/8th mile. Btw, 8.2 is not a slow time compared to most other street cars. You will need a turbo and 275-300 hp to beat that time. Good luck and let us know how you so, win or lose.

 

na this car has no turbo.... its got 150 shot on it

ive got 10.5" slicks it hooks up pretty good

 

you are right 8.2 is not a slow car...but for this car it is it hsould be an ez low 7 's high 6's car with all the stuff its got done to it.. but the guys that one the shop are alot of hacks.. and dont know what they are doing with a good tune it would be much much faster..

i dont go very often.. but i was in there shop last week and say them hooking the nitrous on there car and was like i should race them shaddy sides kinda sucks the track is slick if its not a race night... but i guess its better then racing them in the street..

 

there is some nitrous some carb some exhaust some.. a roll cage some msd some slicks some gutted ... lol sorry i will do a whole list thrusday with the video

 

oh, i was under the impression taht this was the turboed motor....are you even still using a rotary? i heard zac was swapping a v8 in to his. do you know how its going? also whats the news on your turbo kit for sale?

 

turbo kit is in TX sorry... zac's car is runing strong last i heard he said its faster then it was b4 woot....and i am still using the good ol 12a i wont use anything else in my black car it will be 12a for life.. i sold the kit cheep caz some1 stole my turbo and intercooler like 400 for everything
