Intake package, or buy stuff seperately

I have a 12b and i was looking at rotaryshacks web site and they are selling carburator set ups with new manifold, intake and carb. Its about 700.00 and up, is this a good deal, they say it can gain as much as 60hp, is that pretty good or would i be better off buying these components seperately if i wanted that extra horsepower or just plain nicer parts. I want more power in my car, but i am trying hard to keep it as reliable as possible with performance upgrades. What are your suggestions? Thanks God Bless

None will work without the others. If you can find a good deal on things, then buy everthing separately, if not I think Rotaryshack has some pretty cheap prices. Upgrade your exhaust before anything, header on back. Where in Kansas do you live? I live around KC Missouri.

By the way...12a not 12b

Buy it seperately! It's cheaper! If youre running a 12a check out my post in the for sale section for a sidedraft manifold.

Thanks, Ed
