Cool im now officially a poor college student

Well i moved into my dorm friday at penn state behrend (erie, pa) . Its a brand new experience for me cause i live in a small town (sharon, pa). I used to be so bored i would end up doing retarded stuff with my friends, lol. Here there is so much do to and so many people meet. I can't keep track of everyone, sometimes i have trouble remembering names, and there is still so many more people to meet. I didn't even start classes yet (mechanical engineering by the way). I just got done with a 3 day orientation program. I really wanna get involve with SAE, here they do the supermileage on, but id like to see if i can get them to go with the formula competition. I met a couple girls that lived a couple miles away from me and are also in engineering so that was pretty cool. There are so many hot girls here, it's hard not to meet them. I wanna go to sevenstock so bad, im gonna try and see if i can fly out there but i dunno if itll happen or not. well i just thought i would share.

Cool, good luck in school man. Work hard and play hard. So thats why you havent been around lately. Teh trick to remembering peoples names is to say it to yourself 3x when you meet them, or so the experts say. I still suck at that though.

i found something that works is just to say it outloud once or twice right after they tell you. they might think your deaf or slow but at least u will remember their name lol.

i dont think im gonna be able to go to sevenstock. the cheapest roundtrip i found is 400bucks and i wont be able to have that much to spare in time. hopefully i can find another one to go to in the next few months or maybe when i finish my car this summer i can drive to one

there isnt a single decent looking girl at my college. I go to RPI ... www.rpi.edu

I call it hell.

I used to be a member of the student auto shop, until it got shut down 2 years ago. Since then I have had nothing to do.

I started buying and selling car audio on the internet. Its the most fun I could imagine college being. Well at least this one.

Hope you like your school.

i got into RPI... but RIT wanted to throw money at me, and so i decided to go there...

but no girls... and it SUCKED ***

I HATED IT

and i got into A LOT of trouble.... i was on the border of getting kicked out when i decided to drop out.

oh well. Bad choices, money wasted, time wasted... and now i have no motivation to go back to college in any way shape or form. awfully unfortunate.

Good luck in school. The first year in engineering is a tough one (sophmore was harder though), so just get all of your homework done and study hard. There's sacrifice now but it's worth it in the end.

SAE is a great organization to join, they have very reasonable rates for students and the magazine is a really good one. It also gets you into the convention in Detroit, which is really an engineering candyland. I've done a presentation there. You can learn alot through SAE.

Don't worry about remembering people's names, you'll remember the important ones, ie the hot girls .
