idleing at 3k

my rx7 is idleing at 3k, this is what i did
I replaced the fuel injector O rings because my car was surging and having hot start problems.

when i put everything back together and started the car the rmps will stay at 3k and not go down, any ideas or mabie pics on what i can do will help

P.S this is a 1985 GSL-se 13B fuel injected

check and make sure u don't have the throttle cable too tight. there should be a little slack in the cable.

Check the rubber hose coming off the back of the intake manifold same thing happend to me when i swapped out headers. just reconnect it to tha 6port accutuator tube if im not mistaken(pretty sure but ill check tomorrow) and the other side to the 3/4 alluminum nipple on the back of the manifold near where the lower and upper meet.

yea im sure you where right it was a vacume hose that i did not reconnect.
i reconnected it and car runs fine thanks guys.
