Idle problem...Please help

I have an 81 Sa22c 12A. It has a pacestter exhaust system(Not a good choice i know) with the air pump removed and thermal reactor manifold etc removed. It has been fine for 18 months then it developed a regular miss when ticking over. It now sometimes dies when coming to a halt. A carb rebuild kit has been fitted but it has made no difference. The idle compensator, coasting richer solenoid and coasting valve seem fine. Cant find any vacuum leaks as such. But not sure if this is an ignition or fuel issue. On the ignition is have changed for new the rotor arm, distributor cap, Ht leads and spark plugs. Could this be a coil issue or the igniters. I am lost. Tenerife has no knowledge about a rotary and don't want to help. So someone please help me.

Test spark to see if your trailing and leading igniters work. If both trailing are out, then the trailing igniter is bad, if both leading are out, then the leading igniter is out.
