ok, I'm a new guy here, just got a good deal on a tired -SE. It needed a battery, so I put a new one in, but it wasn't labeled correctly, so it went in backwards. ZZZZZ, poof!
What all did I fry? Supposedly it ran, just needed a battery and a few other misc things... I'm much more of a mechanical person than an electrical one.
Thanks helping the idiot.

You should have just popped the main fuse. I'm not sure where they are on the -SE, but I'd say that's what you did.
I did this same thing in my Probe. The previous owner installed new cables, but he used a black wire as the power and the red as the ground. Since there was no battery in the car when I bought it, I didn't know that it was backwards. No big deal, just an 80 amp fuse and a couple of new cables that are now the right colors.

ok, where is that fuse? I checked the fuses in the main fuse box, but there isn't a main, or anything approaching 60A, just a bunch of 10,15,& 20A for smaller stuff.

You probably cooked one of your fusible links. They are located (on my car anyway) on the passenger side front strut facing towards the front of the car.
If you have a look in this picture, you can just see the top of the fuses above the intercooler pipe on the right hand side on the strut...
Hope this helps.

In America thats the driver's side strut tower. A little brown box with plactic coated wires on one side a cloth covered on the other side. The cloth covered are in a loop which is the "fuse" in the fusealbe link.
