I made some more progress today...

Well, I went to my other house and worked on my car some more. I got the dual belt pully installed, the new radiator, the electric fan, and the thermostat for the electric fan (installed, not wired yet). I also fixed my idle problem, which was the cruise control cable was too taught and was pulling on the throttle a little. Then, I got that figured out, I set the idle screw, set the mixture, set the timing, and then found out that the throttle cables/linkages were kinda gummed up. After I sprayed some carb cleaner over every linkage and everything, the pedal moves much smoother now . Not only does the throttle return to an idle now (rather than stop at 2K), but it revvs up MUCH quicker . I just need to get my RB muffler in (just the header and pre-silencer is a little loud ), get the tranny mount in, and get new rubber for it, and I'll be driving it .

Oh yeah, and Manntis, I didnt forget about you. I have yet to know if I got my new camera yet, but as soon as I know, Ill be taking lots of pics . The dual belt system looks great with the lack of all the other parts under the hood. You know, like no clutch fan, A/C, air pump, ACV, the RB exhaust, the Accel wires, etc...Its sweet . I cant wait to show it all off

I had the same problem too...my linkages and crap were all gummed up. IF ANYBODY has that problem and you are unable to stop your car, instinctively pull the choke out! It'll make your car drop its revs back down to normal.

I actually drove around with the throttle cable stuck for 2 weeks by pulling the choke every time i came to a stoplight!
