I know I'm asking for a flame.....

Ok, the good news is I figured out what I am going to do with the 85'....the bad news is I am puting the motor in the s-10 when I get it to it's peek performance.

so here's the list for the 13b build up.
1. In house bridge port.
2. custom t3 turbo
3. 175-250 spray...depending on...well....my need to die.
4. sponsored H&R suspenison
5. custom exhaust(cause I work at a turbo/exhaust shop)

ok and for the bad new's.
1. 327sbc-Turbo
2. S-10 getting the rotory
3. then I will have a faster more reliable work truck and a fast *** track car....

A little, I have some friends at Yamoto, they're going to help on the port and the build up. doing the turbo kit myself(have done a couple honda kits and helped on a tt350....my boss on the other hand has done around 30 kits on just about everything and had a turbo on his 12a before swaping the tt350 into it. any suggestions?

Thanks-Erik-

Sorry to bring this up but i really don't think that your little rotary monster is going to be that realiable as you might think.

Trust me, you would be a lot better off leaving the motor in the rx7 and using the s-10 as a back up car, especially if you were planning to use the truck for work.

Also first of all say hello to 10 mpg at least and a lot of trouble coming up, bridgeport turbo is not the best combination in the world for the street. Secondly 175-250 spray is too much for an n/a and especially for the turbo rotary, 50-75 shot is where you want to be. Remember that a given shot of nitrous on a rotary is actually more horsepower than on a piston motor.

Good Luck...cause you are going to need it.

why would an s-10 rotary be bad news... ive been wanting to do this for a while, but i dont think my stock spare se motor would push an s-10 very fast without a terbo

i dunno, it may be better that the stock 4 banger in a 2 door shortbox....

what 12abridgeport is saying that a rotary that built up will not be anything that would reliable or really driveable on the street. leave the S-10 stock and mod the mazda. that way when you have to buy a new engine you can actually haul it.

on the other hand I would like to run a 13BT in a small truck or maybe a Bronco II. Probably never will but who knows. put a 20B into a Mazda Navajo. I don't think I would have to worry a bout a hemi-powered durango.

Well, you'll have a sweet S-10 at least!
