looks sweet dude, i need to polishe and clean my wheels, im thinking about powder coating mine.

The Mother's/MeGuier's polish has a wax base. That's why the clear coat fish eyed. A good rub with Prep-Sol and automotive paint paper towels will usually remove the wax base. Polishing wheels is a lot of work. I've learned the hard way to not let them get bad enough that they have to be sanded. Good job on the wheels.

Ahhh, it all makes sense now. I'm actually glad I went with the clear powder coat though. It seems WAY more durable than rattle can clear, and I know it will last a lot longer. The powder coat makes it so easy to clean too. I would suggest it for anyone that polishes any aluminum.

Looking into getting done, but it's a bit of a rip-off down here (can't get a quote under 250)

Damn, that's pricey. That is the benefit I have of living out in the country. The guy that powder coated my wheels is a 2.5 hour drive away but it was cheap. Very worth the price and drive.
