That's all you did was make a honest error in reassembly. Your not the first one to do something like this. It also confirms my original theory that I learned many years ago. And on the idle adjustment screw, it is not on the base of the carb, that is the mixture screw. As stated the idle adjustment screw is just slightly to the left of that pesky accel rod linkage.

So I turned it counter-clockwise a half turn and engine idled at 700-800 although it's idle is just a little rough, maybe just needs to be run, or......?
I then turned it back exactly half turn clockwise and ran in the house/jumped on the computer

But I have to go place a WTB in sales/want for a 12a oil pan...I seen that mine is rusted from sitting on the ground and after scraping off the rust it has a very small leak there(should've left the rust huh? lol
