I'll mount the radiator up front like normal. It's hard to tell from the pictures but there is plenty of room.

How am I going to mount the radiator ? I think I have some 2X4's laying around :lol2:

It's from a 1990 Mustang GT, so it's a Ford 8.8

So, any estimated idea of when this thing'll be ready to fire up? I want to see just what that big ass turbo is capable of. Providing your engine internals don't get blown to shards. ;) I have no idea what that turbo is capable of....well I do, but not on a car.

That's what she said.

Looking good. Any new update and what's needed to complete?

Viking War Hammer 12-09-07 11:24 AM

Well.... I'm just trying to get a driveable right now. I'll worry about the rest of the stuff later when I'm ready to tune.

These are the things that are needed to make it driveable.

Fuel line
Fuel Fittings

Radiator and mount
Coolant Lines
Electric waterpump
Electric waterpump flange
Waterpump/Radiator fittings

Misc wiring

Dang high dollar fittings :(

3rd and final 7 12-09-07 02:37 PM

here is a page to get you going on the water pump, if i remember correctly you have a 2ng gen turbo motor and the adapter shuold fit on. it looks like the mount holes are setup for a 2nd gen pump.

There's plenty of room to remove the intake manifold. Even so, the downpipe is easy to remove :)

Just ordered a bunch of -10 nylon fuel hose and fittings ! I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend ! :scared:

Dang high dollar fittings :(

I hear you on this one. I am probally down $1000-1500 dollars for all my SS braided lines and fittings. By the looks of it you may even be over that with the huge braided coolant lines. Well do it properly the first time and hopefully it will last and last.

Exactly, I'm saving the coolant lines and fittings for last. I don't even want to think about it or I'll end up sick to my stomach :(

if its a size 92 they are all "private tanks so unless its out of date they will fill them at any welding supply place (actually they just take your tank and exchange it for a full one.. here in the linn/benton area of oregon they usually charge around 45-50 bucks for a 92 co2/argon mix (75/25)
