T stands for trailing, I look at it as the TOP.... 1=the front rotor, 2=the back rotor....

So ...

t1 t2
L1 L2

L stands for leading, and I see it as lower...

Someone got that wrong.......

I have no idea about the coils...

And check the thermastat... it could be at fault for the over heation....

DONT EVER LET IT OVER EHAT.... OVER HEAT =VERY VERY VERY BAD!!!!!

VERY BAD!!!!!

um..... for the clutch.... check and see if the rod from the slave cylinder to the fork, is moving when pressing the clutch, if it is, then the slave and master should be good...

Does it have a driveshaft??? Check that...LOL... I doubt its that... but you never know.....

Well.. thats all I can think of for now...

well i made some progress today..

ive been working my butt off all evening on the car, i swapped the tires around so that the big ones are on the back and the little ones are on the front *Groan* and i did some vacuum adjusting, took the slave cylinder off my clutch and proceeded to squirt myself in the eye with transmission fluid because i was pushing the hydraulic looking at the slave cyl and it squirted in my eye *snickers* oh well i can still see and now i have the transmission rebuild sorta started..all started taking the AC compressor off and wondering if anyones done this and wtf mazda was thinking when they put the BOLT between the two hoses.. >*groan*< i still cant get the compressor all the way off but its disconnected now so i guess thats good...my thermostat is toasted im going to get a new one ASAP, only time ive run the car was its once a day 2 minute idle to keep carbon demons away, and to show off that the car ran to a "friend" of mine... funny, took me 5 minutes to get the sucker to crank on the daily run, but when the ev0l camaro driver came around she cranked up on the first try and proceeded to purr loudly for him.

keep at it! It's a labour of love and you'll love the car all the more when you're done.

To get my 7 I had to take my Merkur. The Merkur has a huge leak in one of the tranny hoses leading up to the radiator. So, to get to Orangeville, where my car is, I had to drive a car with a slipping tranny 2 and a half hours! Well, 5 minutes into the drive, the tranny kicked the bucket in an intersection (right in front of a mechanic shop!) so, I ran in, got some tranny oil....and with all my knowledge of piston-engined vehicles (lol) I poured a bit of tranny fluid in the oil check tube....
Well, after that crap, I pushed the car into the mechanic's parking lot and we filled the tranny up with three bottles of tranny fluid! Right away, almost 1/2 a quart or more has already dripped on the ground...i ran into the shop, thanked the mechanic, ran to the car and took off (The mechanic was absolutely appalled i was driving this thing almost three hours away!) So, after 1 hour of driving, i reached Oakville, the tranny ran very strong (none of the usual knocking and pinging) until it starting slipping again! In front of a Shell station! Shell doesnt have tranny fluid! Barely getting the car going again....i limped out of the lot, slowly, because gunning it just makes it neutral...I drove into milton until i got to another intersection...oh ****...the tranny's slipping again!!!! But, AHOY! There's a Canadian Tire. I pulled into the gas station part (the closest thing to the road) and hello hello, they have tranny fluid! Along with a pepsi i bought a couple bottles of Dexcron or whatever tranny fluid, filled the tranny...and off i go again! I made it to Orangeville, and the tranny just starts slipping another hour later! Thank goodness for Dexcron. And that's when i learned 5 speed for the first time (the merkur is Auto) but thats another story of triumph and glory.

i changed the fuel filter too, and ganked 7 gallons of gas out of the tank by leaving the fuel pump hooked up with a jug under it.. free gas = good ... that kinda makes me feel better ... i got a few bucks worth of gas out of the car..tanks still half full too... :|
