I got an FD!

Well a 1:24 scale one anyways

I was just going through my local Wal-Mart's model section, and
BAM!!!
A black FD staring RIGHT at ME!

As you may or may not know, I'm an FB guy (my car is an '84 -SE), but you can't help but appreciate the beauty of the FD.

Anyways, it's a nice looking metal body kit from Testors. Usually I don't go for skill one (no glue or paint req'd) but for an FD I made an exception.

Anyways it took about 15 minutes to build, but it did require a dab of glue to keep the muffler in place.

The store only had the one, so I ordered 2 more

I've got the Kyosho 1:18 FD R1, and the Tamiya Savanna RX-7 Sunroof SE Limited (GSL-SE) 1:24, plus a few hotwheels FD's.

I want an RX-8 model since I put a deposit on one of the 1:1 scale one's

How'd you put down a deposit on an RX-8? They're not being released 'till 2003? Hell, they haven't even finalized the design yet?

oh, well that's easy. I e-mailed the local Mazda dealer and said I wanted to put a deposit down.

They said ok, give up 300$.
I said ok.

They said, great! You'll be first in Rochester to get one.

Great, make mine yellow.
