I have always owned gsl-se's (never driven anything but an se) and one thing I must say is the stock brakes on the gs really suck! I totally forgot that it had different brakes....
Just curious... how do you find the handling on this GS in compasiron to the SE?

The guy had 10 guys lined up if I didn't buy it, 9 of them out of state and one as far away as Chicago. I ment to buy this car the first time it was on ebay but forgot to bid. The winning bidder decided after driving it for a few weeks that his arthritis in his left knee prevented him from driving a five speed so he had to re-list it for sale.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
Nice find. I hope it stays safe and sound.
Are you modding this or keeping it stock?

Thats a very clean car. To bad theres an equally nice GSL here in utah going for $2900. In fact you should of bought this 10th AE up here thats going for $3k (he's had no luck selling it but it should sell for $2500). I've never seen that car you bought but that is damn nice especially considering what utah weather does to cars.

It's not a Utah car, this car spent 19 1/2 years in southern California owned by a lady, then she gave it to her son in WA who sold it to the guy in Utah.

I wasn't looking for a gsl, I already have a gsl-se and was looking for an S or GS model since they don't have sunroofs and are lighter. The gray interior was also a big plus. This car was exactly what I was looking for.

And for the 10th AE, Sorry but I have no desire to ever own a second gen.

Not doing a thing to it is going to be the hard part I will get some pics of the engine up soon.

The car was only in Utah for about 2 months so you probably won't miss it. All I saw of Utah was Salt Lake City Airport (seller met me there) and the 15 freeway I drove straight outta there like a man on a mission. I wish I had time to sight see. Those red rock canyons you travel through as you head south on I-15 were beautifull as were all the snow covered mountains.

yeah and I still cant get over it. RotaryRevn called me on his way back to LA (while he was in UT). Instead of saying drive safely, I told him to stop at Vegas or Stateline. Personally I would. who knows, I may win the $$ back

Kind of the same deal with my FC. Originated in calfornia for the first 12 years and spent 1 year in utah before I bought it. Its so clean underneath and not a spot of rust. My GTu however is a year newer and a utah car and its all rustin up underneath the chassis.

Yup, high miles but, once the P-Port is done, I will have an extra engine.
