I'm a big fan of research.. so
My biggest question at the moment... tied to the results I will need to achieve is :
How light can a FB be lightened to? I want to take a GS.. strip it to NOTHING. weld in a roll cage.. and then drop in a reasonable motor.
Can it be taken down less than 1800lbs?
Daryl

Another question for fitzwarryne :
Will the differential from the Toyota fit inside the RX-7 rear-end housing?
I'm assuming I use the existing ring and pinion on the toyota diff in the rx-7 housing. This way the final gear ratio will be unchanged, but I will have a stronger diff. Correct?
