That's sorta how I was picturing it. Looks like he was able to mount it pretty far forward.

Jesus.... I would love to have a look at the front bearings after a couple of hours with them belts.
A M90 needs about 40hp just to be driven at a normal boost level. The pressure on the bearings will then be extremly high.
Even a to tight alternatorbelt will normaly ruin the bearings...

I have plans on building a 13B BB 6-port with the same setup (M90). But i will build an extra bearing in front of the mainpully to take the force...

Sorry, my english writing is not perfect. But I guess that you know what I mean?

PS. Use a Intercooler if it's possible, you will gain a lot... DS.

When I was running the Camden, I had to tighten the crap out of the belt to keep it from slipping (didn't work, it still slipped). Gilmer drive would be the way to go if you could find or make the correct pulley for the blower.

The pulley on the blower shouldn't be any more difficult than for the alt or waterpump or main driver. Remember you need to also make an idler pulley and keep them all similar in size to the Camden pullies.

I recently tried the 7" Camden percent is talking about, in my REPU on the same engine basically (a ported R5) and I tightened the belt a lot (it started flexing my screwdriver as I lifted the alt) and it's still not enough. It will boost a little but tends to slip a lot. It's a fairly new gatorback belt. I could grab a crowbar and really cram the alt up there but I don't want to ruin the bearings in anything. I think someone really should look into a set of cogged pullies or a wider serpentine for use with a Camden because the 7" units just have too much drag.
