using the stock front end, how would you set up a FMIC

should I just find the biggest one I can fit in there or what, what about intercooler piping size, what should I run?

If I found one to cover half, should it be on the top or the bottom, I would think the bottom for more effinciency and looks.

Here is a Grand National IC with the necks cut off mounted up front. Was pretty easy to hook up.

eddierotary, I see you are running the small NPR in front of the Radiator and still using the stock mounting and radiator positioning. Will a big NPR fit that way also?

Later
Randy

I like the way that npr one is hooked up, but looks like a tight fit.

looks like the drivers side radiator panel is still there, is the passenger one still there. If it fits that well and I just have to cut a hole on each side of the red shroud im going to go with a npr.

Nope, the one is the ebay has almost twice as many rows and the in/out are slightly larger.
I have one of the larger NPR (like the ebay add) that was in my musatng laying in the garage floor. Just yell if you need some demensions.

i have both panels. my -se radiators panel came with the holes for the stock air box pipe, i try to fit the intercooler pipes thru the holes without cutting them but didnt work. and it looks a tight fit but is not. i can fit the battery and the cooland overflow bottle without no trouble. look like it came from the factory over there.
i can take meturment tomorow so you know how much i cut.

Largest NPR Intercooler. Mounted upside down, with no cutting.

Home made bracket to hold it all in place.

I will have to trim a little of the reinforcment fom the header panel when I put it back on. Unless 1stRX7heaven finishes his vented header panels first.

Actually, Never. I've taken it on and off only a couple of times. It's just regular "L" brackets from Home Depot. It was better than having to weld anything.
