how to rear pumpkin swap??

Question how to rear pumpkin swap??

dont feel like searching what ya going to do .....

i going to do this today but when pulling my axles do i need to mess with my drum brakes at all???drums suck so i hope i just unbolt the four bolts on teh back and they just come on sliding..........

in order to swap the pumkins how are they takin out??? pull that front cover and the two mounts get unbolted and it pulls out and swaps in??

I'm pretty sure the backing plates can stay there sort of hanging by the brake line.

As for the two mounts ?? The wattslink rods? I forget if you have to do anything with them. Just take out the bolts that hold the pumpkin and drop it out.

If your axles don't 'just come on sliding' figure out a way to attach a length of chain to the studs and do a "crack the whip" motion. It takes a few tries to get the timing right but it will get the toughest axles out.

Beyond that try searching.....

If you are pulling the axels the drums have to come off because the e-brake cable attaches on the inside of the drum. I don't think that your e-brake cable is long enough to remove the axel without disconnecting the e-brake cable.

What he said. Take it all off. Use a slide hammer to pull the axles; if you can pull them out by hand you probably need new axle bearings and retainers.
