How much MMO added to fuel? - NOT PREMIX
Hi All - read bits and pieces here about using Marv Mystery Oil as a gas additive, thinking of doing the same. Found a detailed Archive on using it as PreMix in leu of OMP, but I just want to use it as an additive, so:
-what mixtures are people using?
-or should I just follow the boinger recommendations on the bottle
Thanks

I add 8 oz to 10 gal gas on my convertible with the OMP still hooked up. Slightly less would work also, maybe 4 to 5 oz per 10 gals with 12a, since they inject more oil than the later 13b.

Marvel suggests 4 oz. for every 10 gallons...so about 6 oz. per tank for our cars.

If you don't have cats, then just put a bottle per full tank and call it a day. (The bottles aren't that big)
If you've got cats, I wouldn't recommend mixing it, extra burnt oil can foul cats over time.
If you're looking for something to clean stuff out, try SeaFoam. It's pretty amazing stuff. Again, a bottle per full tank, run two or three tanks in a row once a season and you'll notice a difference.

Thanks guys - obviously no hard-and-fast rules eh? ![Wink](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Just looking for "preventative" measures. Don't think anything needs a clean, as such. Car has about 72K and I am religious about 3K mi (or less) oil changes-
Sounds like sticking to the MMO directions is OK...
cheers
