My '82 had 155,000 miles on it when I sold it, and it still ran good and didn't use coolant. My current '79 just cracked the 103,000 mark. The '79 has been well kept in it's long life.

got less than 1 mile on my 12a J-bridgeport in the racecar.

got about 300 miles on the rebuild big 4port 13b in the repu

the 12a stock motor i had in the racecar when it was daily driver lasted 225,000 miles and it was a little low on compression and had dowel pin leak, but it still hummed like Monica Lewenski!

295,000kms on the engine and body of my GSL-SE daily driver. And I still wind it up to 7500rpm pretty much daily.

Body: 73.000 km, that'll be 45.000 miles.
Engine: 10.000 miles. The engine was bought new, not a rebuild, in 2000.
Might go for a street port someday, but don't find it smart to open up a healthy low-milage engine to do a rebuild/porting job on...

My '85 GSL 12a has 180,000 km on the original motor. The car still runs very strong!

I had a friend get 320,000 out of his '82 before it seized...Mines only at 104,000, so hopefully it will last forever!

163,000 km.... however the hell I'm supposed to know what that is in miles is beyond me. Only Americans and a few backwards 3rd world countries use that old system anway. 12" in a foot, 3 feet in a yard.. who came up with this? some insane, drunk monkey?

10s baby, it's all about 10s. Metric makes so much more sense.

Actually it was some insane, drunk english monkey who came up with that Anyway, I believe 1 mile is about 1.6km. So your engine did about 100.000 miles.
Hope I'm right with this, cause obviously we aren't using miles over here either (thank god!). Long live metric the system

The metric system rules! I could even go for metric time! You know, 10 hours instead of 12 on the clock face etc.
