Boswoj, I'll take Wacky's word over yours any day.
For one thing, I can actually READ his posts.
I agree with him anyway. I find more power going into the line than shifting where the 'proper' point is. The point where you make the max power isn't always the point to shift! Not all of us just bring our car down a quarter mile strip for fun, some of us actually *GASP* RACE our cars, on TRACKS!
On our local course, there's MANY times when shifting at the 'proper' point would result in a loss to the guy that's not afraid to push his motor just a *bit* further.
