How do you remove the seats?

I've looked and I've looked and I've looked, but it seems everyone treats it as common knowledge. I've unscrewed three of the four bolts that hold my seat to the ground (passenger side), but coming to the forth one (back left side if you're sitting in the seat facing forward) I can't seem to get it undone. It's in this incredibly awkward location and I can't fit anything in there. I've consulted my Haynes manual, but it says nothing about it. I've also done extensive research on this forum and nothing.

Is it just the awkward location or is there a bit of carpet in the way? It's easiest for me if I have an extension on the socket since there's not enough room to use the ratchet right on the bolt.

Use a long extension and a deep well socket. If that doesn't work for you then try using an extension with a universal joint. Are you able to turn the bolt even? If you can turn it, but it's not coming out then the threads may be damaged. But if you aren't able to get a tool on the bolt head, then try the methods suggested above. Extensions for the ratchet should be what you need.

with the seat slid all the way forward i can undo mine with a standard socket/ratchet. Perhaps your seat has something jamming up the slide and you aren't getting maximum forward movement.

I can get all 4 of them with just a deep socket. Sounds like your seat isn't traveling enough on the rails.

Yeah I can't seem to move it forward on the rails, also the seat won't sit back down on the front left bolt. It's like something is bent.

Try having someone sit in the seat and take the bolt out. That should temporarily keep the rail straight so you can pull the bolt out (or move the seat forward) and then when it is out just beat the rail with a hammer until it is straight. You won't break those frame rails so don't worry about being gentle.
