The best 1 I have seen is the Mairah head light naca duct.
Are you ram air a carburetor engine? I found it does not make you more power, and actually will cause performance issues at higher speeds. Plus risk destroying a engine if you suck in some water.
Carburetor draw air, forcing it in will lean the engine. Unlike Fuel Injection which can adjust the fuel mixture to compensate for the increase air volume.
My .02 cent.

what about all of those 70's muscle cars? a whole shitload of them had hood scoops that went into a carburator. ram air was a populat option on the firebird, GTO, abd a few others i cant be botherd to remember

heheh, make it a little rich, i mean jeez who doesn't do that anyway?
they make headlight vents like that for about any car if you look, they are pretty nice appearance mods... i heard that the new firebirds ram air is good for like 3hp at 70mph so... dunno how much it would help but it does look nice

I just stuck this one on the other day. Got myself an extra hood from the junker, dremeled a big hole, turned a non funtional scoop into a functional one (again with the dremel) then epoxied and rivited it on and painted her up.
It doesn't do anything at the slow speeds obviously but, once I get above about 80kph, there seems to be a pretty decent increase in available power as compared to the original.
It was a super cheap mod to do too. It ran me about $170 cad. for the hood, scoop, and paint.
