Hey guys

Hey guys new guy here......im needing some opinions.....a guy i know has a first gen for sale, body isnt that great, no rust or dents, but its been painted a few times with rattle cans. he bought it cause it was a running and driving car, his sons broke down and he bought it soley for the carbs to see if it was the carbs keeping his sons from running (it wasent)....put the carbs in the passenger seat and has been sitting ever since(2 years). i asked him what hed let it go for and i talked him down to 200 bucks...and it comes with another motor(not sure if it runs or not)

ive been helping my best freind (KaoticFDR1) work on his FD and the more im around it the more i want my own not just an FD but a rotary in general. and then this guy throws up a deal

what do you guys think?

if your looking for a project car and have another daily driver i'd say go for it. These car are fun as hell to drive when working properly. Fix up any kinks with the engine and get it running rite first, and then after the winter throw all the money you got at it, cause its a money pit, believe me

If you are a good mechanic and want a project. Have tools and a garage or shop and so on. I would get it.

just found out that the car has NO TITLE.....what should i do? should i await for an even better deal down the road?

i could possibly buy the extra motor from him and sell it still or part it out if any of you need a 12a or some rotor housings and rotors

Is it a GSL or GSL-SE if so get it for the parts at least, otherwise it isn't worth it. I have bought 4 FBs this year for between $275 and $400 and drove all four home.

if you want a project car go for it...my project car doubles as my daily driver..a thin red line situation..luckily it runs pretty well..and after winter it will get the money pit treatment..all this for $800 originally..so I made out well
go get it and best of luck
cheers
