It only runs rough when I pull out the choke,
I dunno if its just cause its cold outside because its never done this,
If I had the choke pulled out it would bog down, eventually I had the choke pulled out all the way and it bogged down to 2k
I then released the choke and just held down the pedal cause it got useless.
but anyone have any anwsers it would be nice.
I still need to get an oil change and put oil in it if that helps????
p.s.
what brand of oil should I put in it. I have penzoil 10w30 to put in it right now but im scared to. its a 1984 GSL carb,

this didnt sound like a normal choke, this thing sounded like a strangle, and almost kill.
the thing sounded like it was just shaking the hole car!.

You have a problem with the choke. The choke butterfly is supposed to crack open when the engine RPM's increase. The shaking indicates that this isint happening. There is some vacuum operated dashpots which do this. Look in the FSM for the testing procedures.
Re-reading your post its also possible your fast idle isint working. Again use the test procedures in the FSM to narrow down the problem.
