and then i heard that these cars like to rust so i had to check out how bad it was..
man im thinking i should part it and look for a car with less rust eh?

other than the years of dirt and the underpoweredness and rotten rubber weather stripping and paint fade, it looks to be pretty decent.
i also have tons of original owner documentation, including maintenance records and bill of sale and such.

pull the storage bins and check in there. my 82 had no signs of rust in the wheel well, but as soon as i pulled the bins, i found rust on both sides where the upper trailing arms mounts are...first gens always seem to rust from the inside out. either way, it looks like a nice car. good find

i pulled the bins to chase fuel pump lines.. no rust anywhere!
yeah it had the stock exhaust stuck on it but it was missing the pre cat so i couldnt bolt it up. we had a parts fb with a full exhaust on it so out came the hack saw and in came the funny muffler.
