help removing air vents and headliner
how do i remove the side air vents off of the dash on an 84 GSLSE and the headliner without damaging them? i have all the tabs off of the side of the headliner bu im not too sure what to do about around the sunroof. thanks.

The vents in the dash just pop out. Pull on the bottom of them, as that is the part that is designed to come out first. Grab the bottom of the vent and pull it TOWARD you. After you pop out the bottom of the vent, pull down on them and the top will slide out. You'll see what I mean when you take them out. Just be sure to pull on the bottoms of them so you don't break the fasteners at the top.

For headliner you have to take off all the trim that comes in contact with headliner. Then you have to pop the sunroof out, unscrew the twist mechanism that pops the sunroof up, take off the molding surrounding the sunroof lip and unclip the headliner from the sunroof lip. Hopefully I remembered it all.
