Welcome to the forum. You are going to get slammed on this question. Every new member wants to ask a "Can I put this in my car"?
This subject is probably covered every week.
The search button at the top of the screen is what you need to use.
Type in the key words twin turbo and see what comes up.

^ I think you need to walk before you run there junior.
You want the short answer, yes. More than that you need to do alot of research by using the search function and then start saving your money.

z-beater, what kind of hood do you have? Just wondering on how you get air to that top mount intercooler with it sitting so high? I believe it's steve who has his mounted without the stock radiator mount housing doohickey to fit it lower to have a vent in the hood...... ?

Damn, this is getting out of hand!
Yes it will fit, there is lots of room.
Yes,you can do it and retain the twin turbos.
Yes,it has been done before, although the VAST majority of people go with a single turbo TII engine swap.
Yes,you will be basically on your own when doing this swap,if you decide to keep the twins and stock EFI.
That said......if you have to ask the very broad and general question of,"Can it be swapped",then two things have happened.........
1st....you didnt search.
2nd....you probably, currently lack the knowledge/skills to do the swap.Im not trying to be a dick here, just preparing you for the realities of this undertaking, which you seem to be unaware of at this point.

Guys play nice :)
Let me make this as painless as possible, I just completed a TII swap useing the entire fornt crossmember stock TII wireing harness and dash.
FYI
I have at my disposal a general machine/welding shop, 3 auto lifts, every hand tool sold by mac, and snap on and a staff of 5 with various levels of fabrication skills, not to mention a lot of friends who share the passion of modding cars to help if that was not enough.
the only portion of this job I had to farm out was the driveshaft as I do not have a dynamic balancer to rebalance the shaft afterwards.
I am 40 years old come this March, and have very deep pockets (if required) (and the boss approves ) and it took me about 4 months to complete the swap working on my off days coupled with 3 weeks of paid vacation time....4 months........4 months....... and I had the full resources of the 1st gen forum behind me with info on a swap that many have done (though in different manner from mine) and it took 4 months......
I honestly think that to do the 13brew would take a lot longer, like along the lines of 8 months or better just for the engine/stock ecu. this would of course be useing the 2nd gen trannsmission because the 3rd gen tranny is ill suited to the swap. You could do it faster by useing an aftermarket ECU but it would still take awhile like about 6 months or so.
so you have to ask yourself, are your pockets deep enough to pay a shop for 2~3 months, or do yoiu have the patience to take off 8 months or longer form your personal life as well as not quite so deep pockets........
honestly as said before search first, think about it search some more, then ask intelligent questions.

**** man, this guy should buy an inexpensive GSL-SE and swap a 2nd gen TII into it using everything stock off the 2nd gen setup. He would use the SE front cover to use the existing engine mounts, and then have to find places to bolt everything else. Less work for quite a bit of decent power. It's still a hard thing to do from what I've read but it is more readily able to be done and you can leave the stock rear with the power you'll generate.
...Now correct me if I'm wrong?

yes itll fit. heres the easiest way:
step 1:
aquire friend to help you
step 2:
set engine behind car
step 3:
pop hatch and apply broom stick to hold hatch open
step 4:
you and friend lift engine and set in hatch
you have just successfully completed putting a 1993 R1 13b turbo engine into a 1985 rx7. go celebrate.
