Help with hoses (only 2)

Ok I just got this rx-7 for $273.00 =). All that i cant find wrong with it is the carb needs a rebuild, 2 hoses are not connected to anything, and the "boxes" with the color stickers that all the vacume hoses are connected to need to be "tuned"

The first hose in question runs off a valuve right below the carb on the passanger side of the car (well kinda in the back) and the hose off the white "box" connects the this maybe an inch the the right. The hose says "heater hose" but i dont know where it connects to, and its sucking air in so i need to find where it plugs asap so it dont suck up anything while im trying to fix it.

the 2nd hose is a bigger hose a few inches below the 1rst anf its bolted to the motor itself. and its blowing out air

Ill try to get pics cause i know i didnt give good enuff detail but i just moved and my cam is somewhere.......

I did buy a repair guide but it doesnt show them anywhere (that i could see), so any help would be great.

also is there anything i can buy to help me tune the "boxes" untill i can buy a new intake?

I think you mean the solenoids when you say "boxes". They're not tuneable, they are just switched on or off by the emissions control computer. You can't do anything with them except maybe check to make sure they are still working.

The first hose sounds like it is supposed to go from the valve to the air cleaner, if it's what I'm thinking of. I don't think it's supposed to be sucking anything in while at idle, either, so your #2 afterburn valve is probably shot then.

No hoses attach to the engine itself, so we'll need to see what we're dealing with here.

I don't know, it really sounds like those are the lines for the flux capacitor, seems like your is missing, just go to the parts store & tell the guy at the counter thats what you need. Installation is simple.

The '*****' are vents, if you twist them, they can break.

Hose #1 is supposed to go to the air cleaner. I think. The perspective on the shot is rather poor.

I have no idea what Hose #2 is, the perspective is awful.
