Help!! It Happened Again!!!!!

Okay, the car wouldn't start so I tuned it up. New fuel filter, air filter, plugs, rotor, and dist. cap. The car started and ran beautiful for three days. Last nigt I'm driving home and for NO REASON the car stalled in the middle of the road and would not start again! I'm at a loss. Could the car be flooding itself somehow? Any help would be most appreciated.

Does it turn over? Did it stall at a light or were you cruising?

If so, then check spark and fuel. Fuel filter could be clogged or fuel pump could have gone out. Check carb to see if you're getting fuel up there. Check float levels. Are your wires in good shape? Are you getting spark?

Check your engine fuse or replace it with a 5 amp higher value fuse for the hell of it and see if that gets you back on the road. More common than people think.

Im driving home for work one day, the car is driving fine as usual. I stop at a light, wait for the cars to pass cause im making a left. Cars revving fine everything looks good. All of the sudden car dies. Cranks fine, just wont turn over. The fuel pump decided to go to a better place.
Just thought i shared my story, hope it helps.

Hey Treceb, that's almost exactly what happened, except my car stalled while doing 80 mph. Anyway I hiked the mile to where the car finally rolled to a stop to try and repair her. Just for the hell of it I tried starting it again and lo and behold it started right up on he first try! I drove her around all day with no problems. I guess she was mad at me for something. Do the fuel pumps on our cars have intermittent problems or when they die they just die? Other than bad feelings, something caused the car to stall but i'm at a loss on this one. Maybe I should just replace the pump?

Hmm, are you doing this sorta stuff often, doing 80?? Maybe, your driving, not that theres anything wrong with doing 80, but maybe the way you got there might have exhausted the float bowls on the carb??? Its just my opinion. Other than that I'd check the fuel filters.

guess she was mad at me for something.
and yes, i posted about this before RX7 do have feelings.
