Help, got a Dome light Issue

Alright here's a quick and small Question

But it drives me Nuts

The car was gone in for Work one time, came out needed more then What it went in for, and the Rear view Mirror was hanging with the Light cover on the seat????

How does that Mirror saty up there????? One side is cracked on the Light cover btu that's it, and No my mirror is only good at stops, bounces around to much to use while Driving.

At the wrecker I always glance I've only seen one with the Dome light cover!!!!!!And it was a nasty SCREW Job!!!!

On Second thought Ignore Line ONE!!

Well, if it's anything like mine, there's two screws that hold it in..... assuming you're talking about the entire assembly came down... but it should be pretty obvious how it stays there.

And before anyone else asks, why didn't you get the shop to fix it since they broke it?

duh

when I first bought my rx7 the rear view mirror was dangling as well. I drove it for a whole month thinking that it was busted or something. So finally I got pissed off enough one day and used a little muscle and pushed up on it and the rear view mirror snapped up in place fine!

When I bought the GSL-SE, it didn't have a dome light cover. The mirror will attatch to the roof in a certain notch. Play around and use a bit of muscle, it'll "click" and then it should stay put.

Hmm...Wonder if I should try that to mine.

When I bought my -SE the mirror cover is off (in the console) and the rear view mirror is held in place against the windsheild with some rubber tubing....
Works, but looks ghetto.

My mirror "fell out" one day when I tried to adjust it. I took the whole assembly down, with the plan to JB weld the mirror back on. Got it on the table and realized it could snap back in. Snapped back in and stayed.
