HELP finding oil leak please

Hello, for those that don't know I just bought an all original, stock 79' RX-7
There is an oil leak that is dripping onto the exhaust. directly under the intake on that thermal reactor thing.
I took off the air cleaner and I can see oil residu everywhere. That thin metal pan between carb and manifold is soaked in oil. What would be the most likly cause of the leak? I checked the oil metering lines, I did'nt see any drips from there.

On a side note while poking around, I see that the OMP is very wet, I'm assuming that is leaking also. Where can I get a block off plate for that so I can just run premix.
Thanks,
Jay

Oil leak healp

Ok tis may or may not be of any help.
But I have had my 85 GSL apart a few times now and I may know what your prob is try checking to make sure that your intake is not cracked there are multiple ports inside the intake that allow water and oil to pass through the intake.
if that is ok then I have no idea

There is NO oil circulating thru the intake manifold. Sorry, but thanks for playing.
It's prolly just your OMP seeping and you engine fan is blowing it back all over the exhaust man etc. etc.
You can get a block off plate from Home Depot, its called aluminum plate. Sorry, not poking fun, just in a weird mood . WHy premix? big hassle dude. Go to www.loweperformance.com and get a rebuild kit for the OMP, its like $10.

Thats probably it, you might as well rebuild the OMP just to be safe anyway.
