Help!

ok.. So I'm changing out my struts.. I get everything off the car and apat with one exception... HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET THE LOCKNUT OFF THE TOP OF THE FRONT STRUTS???

IT just says to "remove" it, but it just turn the shaft of the strut. I could clamp something onto the shaft of the old one to get it off, but I'm not doing that on my new ones... What am I missing???

hehe, I had the EXACT same problem last week. Should be easy to tighten them once it has some pressure on it. What kind of struts you putting in?

Killjoy7: Are yours the weld in place ones of the drop-in kind? I got the weld in kind and I want to clarify the instructions they sent with them.. It says to weld the perch 6.5" above the base of the tube, but that's like 3" lower than the stock spring perch?? And these springs are about half the size, which would allow almost no suspension travel?

Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera, and my 35mm camera is broken right now. You're more than welcome to come over and check it out this weekend. I'll be out there most of the weekend I imagine. Let me know.

I'm about 5 minutes west of NE mall area...
