HELP!!! 7 dying and I cant find out why!
Ok, so it dosent start when cold... block heater on for an hour and she starts right up... ok 20W-50 is heavy, understood. dies on idle, ok... adjust idle till she runs... ok... drive arround and she DIES on me... WHAT THE HECK! I have looked at everything I could think of... good compression, good spark, new plugs+wires, carbs just cleaned, battery is new, cant find any vacuum leaks... WHATS LEFT! please help me, I am at my witts end here. ohh, and it also seems that the dash pots are working fine b/c after warming up I do a quick throttle jump and she settles down fine...

Sounds like you have a cracked/clogged idle jet...
on edit-
Are you sure you have good compression.... How did you test it? The block heater tells me that you have seals that are swelling up due to the heat....

Just throwing this out there. My cousins car started fine, but when he drove around the car would die. The problem was a loose battery. The postiive post was grounding out to the hood. Every time he hit a bump or drove around a corner fast the battery would shift and ground out. The solution was to tie down the battery and put a rubber boot onto the positive terminal. This may or may not help, but this problem was a pain in the a$$, because it was right under our noses, hehe

Glogged fuel filter? Might be your gas tank is "Shedding" inside, plugging filter. Car will start and run fine then stall after a few minutes. Sit for a few minutes. Starts again and drives then stalls, etc. Tank needs to be drained, removed, cleaned (like a rad shop dunk tank, etc) then a sealer poured in to stop tank from shedding again. POR15 (por15.com) makes a tank sealer kit for DIY.
