Headlights need a Warmup??

Hi guys, my FB has an issue,

When I turn on the headlightsthey flip up fine but the lights won't come on, I have to hold the highbeams on for around 5 minutes before I can release the highbeam switch and have the lights (regular night time lights) stay on.

Anyone seen this before???

Also how can I get the READ THIS THREAD TO INCREASE YOUR...... to stop notifying my hotmail everytime someone joins the forum??

Thanks Guys

... Did you try pulling the choke out for the lights? LOL

Maybe the light bulbs are bad or the switch/relay is bad?

Sounds like a bad headlight relay to me, possibly a headlight switch.

Sounds like a contact corrosion issue somewhere.
