Smile Headlight retractor problem

Hey everyone I was wondering if you guys can help me out with a headlight problem on my 82 RX-7. I'm a noob to these cars and the forum and need some help. When I turn on my headlight retractor switch my left headlight comes up, but the right doesn't. Then when I turn the switch off, nothing happens. The left light doesn't come down or anything. Is this a blown fuse or something more serious? My fusible link was gone but I repaired it so I can't see this being the problem. If anyone has advise id like to hear it please! thx

Gonzz's headlight thread this is a gift because you are new, but it was just 2 posts beneath yours.

Check the linkages, sometimes if the shitty plastic washers are worn the linkages come off the ball end things. You can get electrical grommets (rubber) to replace the plastic bits. I have found this to work as well if not better than the plastic bits.

I just had problems with mine too! Neither would go down. After tracing everything and check fusible links all seemed right. So I unplugged bothe relays and one of the 2 wire power plugs, put em all back together and bingo... started working again. Why? Good question... does someone have an answer?
