Headlight help

I'm trying to figure out what I did to my headlight motor.
when looking for a denso 056700-5950, I came across a cross referenced relay number on the forums.
plugged it in and then then "good side" started to go up and down non stop. The new relay side did nothing(previously tested with the good relay)
headlight and retractor fuse did blown(did away with the links and have bushman fuses).
headlights now work, but the now the turn signal function on the stalk has stopped working. The Hazzard switch still causes all four corners to blink, tail lights, dash, map everything else still works.
with a dmm at the "working motor" I read source voltage across the three parallel spades, .3 volts when on the middle and bottom left corner, no change when pop up switch is hit. And source voltage when at the top right and bottom left again. When at the non working side, the only voltage I read is when pinned top right bottom left.
please forgive my jumbled mess, just limped it back home 15 miles in the dark. And honestly beat after trying to figure this out on the side of the road.
thanks ahead of time for any help... also, where the hell do I find these relays?
