Hawk HPS pad knock

Hawk HPS pad knock
As the title says, I installed these sunday along with new rotors. Under normal braking, no problem. But get on them at all and an odd.
Whoop, pause, whoop, pause, whoop; which is related to wheel speed.
I can feel it in the pedal and it sounds like front left. Pulled the wheel, nothing out of the ordinary. Thought maybe the inside pad is sitting too losely on the bracket, was thinking maybe the hardware has lost its springiness. Thinking about putting old pads back on to check to make sure it wasn't something else.
Any thoughts, past experiences ect?
Danke

Not sure if this will apply to your situation, but check out my thread on the issue I had when installing these pads. My problem turned out to be with the rear pads, but you might still get someting out of this...

Thanks for the response Kentetsu. I did see your thread when I was searching about. Alignment of that 'pin' applies to the rear brakes disc when they double as an e-brake.
I'm going to have to swap some things over once I get a free one, to get to the bottom of this. Hopefully this weekend, as long as I don't drink myself to death during Oktoberfest.
Prost!
