Hard to find air filter for mikuni 44 phh?
I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for... Im most likley going to buy a mikuni 44phh set up for my 12a and I am curious as to how hard it would be to find a filter/any equitment needed to mount on it... Does anyone know where I can get these? The seller apparently does not have them...
Thanks

ill check if the k&n on mine has a part number, then you can go to canadian tire or a auto parts store and order one up, i dont think you need any other parts as long as its got the intake maniflod etc.. all the cables just mount right up,

I have a K&N round air filter kit on mine. Yes the chrome endcaps come with the kit. If the Mikuni your getting has the big stacks, they will bulge the filter out a little. Doesn't look too bad. Which causes a tight fit. If yours has the straight ones like in the picture above you'll be fine.

Another thing... the seller only wants a money order rather then paypal... suspicious? what do you guys think?

When I had a mikuni the sides of the horns were cut straight to avoid the bulge on the airfilter.
Also- You may want to check the filter selections from rotary shack. I would think a k&n filter set up on a weber 45 dcoe would work on a Mikuni or Dellorto.
(As a matter of fact- I have a spare filter and assembly from a dcoe in my garage).

Try this web page, they sell Weber stuff but the air cleaner is interchangable I believe.
