Question GSL-SE Turbo Kit?

GSL-SE Turbo Kit?

GSL-SE Turbo Kit

Does anyone know if there is any aftermarket turbo kit or custom made turbo kit for a GSL-SE? I have been looking every where but I can find one. Probably this has been asked before, but I had to ask too. Any ideas or suggestion will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Luism12lm

No such beast!

Look at the TII swap sticky thread at the top of the forum.

there was a kit back in the 80s.. Cartech Turbo. Its VERY rare and expensive. Someone on this forum has 1 i believe...But your best bet is to go to the TII sticky at the top and go through those websites.

You can do a TurboII swap, though it would probably be quite expensive. If you can find the Engine and tranny for a good deal, it'd be the easiest though, and the closest thing to a "kit" you'll find.

You can custom make/mount one, but if your engine isn't prepped for it you'll have to run low-boost. If you can't find the TII engine, you can take yours and rebuild it with better apex seals etc... to withstand the load, and put a blow-through turbo on an aftermarket carb. I hear webers are really good for it.

Anyone else have info?

Beside the T-II engine & transmission, what else would I need to make a good engine swap? (computer, wires, etc.)

or you can go with a blow thru carb setup save the time and money in your turbo II swap

Just my opinion but port your engine and if, I said if you have the money and want a kick *** SE, supercharge it. Now I realize that is only if you like low end punch and good throttle response. I think it is a more streetable option but if you want to use a track car go turbo. There are a lot of people on the board who can point you in the right direction.
For supercharging check out Atkins or Vortech.
Again I've been in many cars and believe supercharging for a rotary would be a blast, but that is only one humble opinion.

I agree but you can get 80-90 percent the drivability and reliability but at way less of a cost.

I'll be using a haltech f5 additional injector controller probably with 2 550's. I recently purchased my T04B 60-1 and have a 40 mm hks wastegate, hks cast manifold and blitz bov to go with it.

This should be ok considering I only want to run about 10-12 psi. This should easily be good for 350 rwhp which is good enough to get deep into the 11's with slicks.
