GSL-SE Starting Problem... not every time
Okay I searched "Problem starting" and other similar keywords relating to my problem but as you can probably guess, that's kind of a general topic resulting in many many MANY possibly related threads. And after reading a lot of them, I gave up and decided to post one, so here I am.
Recently (past couple weeks), my car has been having an issue starting up when I've already driven it. The weird thing is, it only has this is problem if i've completely warmed up the engine then let it sit for a few hours. If I stop for only a short time (i.e. to fill up gas, buy coffee, etc) or let it sit for 6 hours or more, it starts up, but it's that 1-5 hour gap in which it just doesn't want to get going.
I should also mention that when i restart it after it sits for a while, it also seems to have a problem getting a smooth start. Instead of the normal VROOOMRMMMMM (sound of ignition to idle)... it kinda goes "barumbrubrubruuuRRRMMMM". (sorry kinda hard to describe without the use of sound). It starts out kinda rough then smooths out. I think this just may have to do with the engine partially flooding due to the issues igniting the fuel.
I would record some video, but due to this issue, my car currently won't start again till later this evening.
I've already checked the electrical system, plugs are sparking, starter and igniters are good, battery charged, all internal power is working, and engine is turning over. So I don't think it's an electrical issue.
But I don't think it's a fuel starvation issue either since it runs fine when i start it cold and immediately after killing it. There is also enough fuel being provided to completely soak the spark plugs to the point that when I take them out after trying to start her up, I can shake the dripping fuel off onto the ground.
The only strange thing i found after having my head under the hood for a couple hours was the fact that the leading spark plugs have a lot of buildup on them while the trailing ones don't. The buildup looks a lot like the buildup from using leaded gas, but I am 100% sure that is not the case unless Chevron has been conning me...
Any ideas rotary gurus? Need any more information?
P.S. I also took her in for a complete tune-up and inspection about 2000 miles ago...

Well, i've only had experience with the fuel injection system on my buddies SE but it sounds like you've got some leaking injectors on your hands. They don't leak enough to cause the car to flood out in a short period of time, but in a relatively long period of time it does, until the residual pressure in the fuel system is released. Then once allowed time for the excess fuel to evaporate from the cambers, it will restart again. As for the buildup on your plugs, its likely caused by the oil injection or oil leaking by the oil seals. It could also be caused by a large amount of additives in the fuel, or a rich fuel mixture. I would definitely change them though, rotaries get real upset with bad plugs, they also tend to go through at a pretty rapid rate. Change the plugs first, make sure the distributor cap and rotor as well as plug wires are in good shape. See what that does and then look into those fuel injectors. Hope i could help a little.

I'll check my injectors tomorrow afternoon if it is warm/sunny out... I figured it may be that...
I also just replaced my igniters three weeks ago, so i don't think that's the problem... as for the distributor and rotor, i just had those looked at right before i replaced the igniters. (or maybe just after, can't remember). Plug wires good too, those were literally the first thing i checked.
So yeah, thinking fuel injectors right now...
Should also mention that the injectors are new and were put in only about 2.5k ago...
