GSL-SE Axle nut torque
Currently installing new rotors on my 85 SE. Stupid me left my Haynes at home and am doing this at a friends house. The new rotors are on and we just need to know the torque setting for the main nut?

I assume you mean the front wheel bearing/hub nut.
My haynes says:
Tighten until the hub binds and will not move freely, then back off one sixth (1/6th) of a turn making sure the hub rotates freely. Spin the hub a few times to seat the bearings. Grab the hub on either side and check for any sideways movement. If there is, tighten the adjusting nut slightly to eliminate the sideways movement, making sure the hub still rotates freely. Install the lock nut and codder pin. Tap the grease cap back into place.
